SKYLINE SETS
Play the lesson ↗ONE GOOD CHOICE AT A TIME
Here’s how
the sky
comes together.
Weather tells you where. Species tells you how well the pair matches.

- 01
Make three columns.
Label them Cloud, Sun and Rain. Each column holds at most two fish. A card belongs only in the column named on it.
- 02
Look at two cards.
Choose one card whose weather column has a free berth. The other card is discarded. You cannot place both cards or move an earlier choice.
- 03
Keep a place in mind.
Once a column has two fish, it is full. If both cards in a later pair point to full columns, discard both and count that as a turn. Otherwise, you must choose one legal card.
- 04
Stop after six turns.
Score each full pair: 3 for matching species, 1 for mixed species. A single fish or an empty column scores 0. Add 2 if all three columns are full. The maximum is 11.
One player.
A repeatable lesson.
The same six pairs appear each time. Choose a card, then deal the next pair. Aim for at least 8 points. A restart clears every choice; leaving the page also resets it.
Try the solo lesson ↗Two to four.
A shuffled little sky.
Make the 48-card paper deck described in the table guide. Take turns clockwise until everyone has had six turns. Highest score wins; tied highest scores share the win.

No timer. No replacement of placed fish. No stakes or prizes. The pictures tell the story; the words on playable cards tell you exactly what to do.
